Terms of Service

Last updated: 27 August 2026

OrderMatch is a decision-support tool, not a substitute for your own review. It assists in catching discrepancies between a Purchase Order and a supplier's Order Acknowledgement — it does not guarantee that every discrepancy will be found, or that every flagged item is genuinely a problem. You remain responsible for verifying your own orders.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using OrderMatch (operated by Stuart Stafford, "we," "us") at ordermatch.co.uk, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. What OrderMatch Does

OrderMatch reads a Purchase Order and a supplier's Order Acknowledgement, using an AI model (Anthropic's Claude, accessed via your own API key) to extract structured data from each, and compares them to flag differences in price, quantity, delivery date, and certain exception language. Results are provided to help you review orders faster — they are an aid to your own judgement, not a replacement for it.

3. Your Account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. One business ("tenant") may have multiple user logins. You must provide accurate information when signing up.

4. Your Anthropic API Key

OrderMatch requires you to supply your own Anthropic API key. You are solely responsible for:

We validate your key with a test call when you save it, but we don't guarantee it will remain valid or funded afterwards, and we're not responsible for checks that fail because of a problem with your own key or Anthropic account.

5. AI-Generated Output — No Warranty on Accuracy

Comparison results, extracted data, and flagged discrepancies are generated automatically by an AI model. Like any AI system, it can misread a document, misclassify an exception, or miss something a careful human reader would catch. OrderMatch is provided "as is" and "as available," without any warranty — express or implied — that results will be accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose.

You must exercise your own judgement before relying on any result for a real business decision, and you should not treat a "Clear" status as a guarantee that an order is genuinely free of problems.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

8. Data and Privacy

How we collect, use, and store your data — including your documents and API key — is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

9. Service Availability

OrderMatch is currently offered free, in beta. We don't guarantee any particular level of uptime or availability, and the service — including its features and pricing — may change as it develops.

10. Termination

You may stop using OrderMatch at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, or that we reasonably believe poses a security risk to the service or other tenants.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. Continuing to use OrderMatch after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
